Missing Mile is the name of a fictional town in North Carolina created by the 'horror' writer Poppy Z. Brite. This site, called by the same name, is a mixture between a tribute to that author and a tribute to the other things that I love. By using the name of Poppy Z. Brite's town and the names of locations in the town, I do not wish to infringe upon copyright laws or to upset anyone in any way. I hold the highest reverence and respect for great artists (both literary and those involved in 'art'), and this page is merely something that I am making to illustrate that love and perhaps to entertain to web-viewing public in the meantime.

I have, as mentioned, used names of places, people, and various parts of Poppy Z. Brite's work to make Missing Mile as accurately as possible; I have also used various other people's works and made references to such. When using a quote, I will always reference it on the page or in the page code. When using a name, I have no other disclaimer save this one. I hope that it will suffice.
